"Magic Mike XXL" star Channing Tatum recently surprised his fans at a staged screening of his movie by going undercover as a balding marketing executive.
The unsuspecting guests entered the theater thinking that they will be witnessing the advanced screening of "Magic Mike XXL" organized with the help of the balding executive, according to Entertainment Weekly.
As an undercover, Tatum asked the guests what they loved most about his movie and what they thought of the first installment entitled, "Magic Mike."
After the brief exchange of thoughts and insights, Tatum informed the guests that they will now be watching "Magic Mike XXL." The minute the lights inside the theater went out, a handful of strippers entered the stage.
Tatum showed off his stripper skills by carefully removing his clothes and shocking the crowd that it was actually him that they were talking few minutes earlier. The actor's stint to promote "Magic Mike XXL" paid off after he received uproar of applause.
Meanwhile, in a previous interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Tatum dished on what fans could expect from "Magic Mike XXL" and said that the sequel could surprise fans in more ways than one.
This is especially the case since a lot of the fans expected something from "Magic Mike" and did not see it then so that is what they could expect in "Magic Mike XXL." By the looks of it, the second installment will most definitely be packed with more stripping and dancing.
"Magic Mike XXL" is slated for release in the United States on July 1.
