The Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update started rolling out for the LG G Flex2 in South Korea two weeks ago. Now the Android Lollipop 5.1 update will be released for the LG G2 Mini as well.
However, the LG G2 and LG G3 users waiting for the new update have not received any news about when it is going to be launched for them. Currently, both G2 and G3 are running on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop, which is infested with a number of bugs and issues.
The main issues plaguing both the devices are apps crashing in a random manner, surprise reboots, incessant battery drain and Wifi connection issues. The new Android Lollipop 5.1 update will address all these problems hence the users are waiting for the upgrade.
Previously, LG users got the Android update from their carriers at the very last. After the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update was running successfully on numerous devices, it was then rolled out for the LG G2 and G3 users.
On the other hand, the latest release from the LG stables, LG G4, comes pre-equipped with Android 5.1 Lollipop. Users can purchase it from all major United States carriers such as T-Mobile and AT&T. It is available in three variants of a black leather case, brown leather case and a silver case. However, the brown leather case is only available with T-Mobile.
LG G4 specs include a Snapdragon 808 processor, which runs a 1.8 GHz CPU. It also comes packed with 32 GB of memory, which can be expanded up to 2 TerraBytes.
