Beattie said that there was not a day that went by where he was not thinking about his scenes in "Game Of Thrones" season 5 episode 9 titled "The Dance Of Dragons" and episode 10 titled "Mother's Mercy."

In "Game Of Thrones" season 5 episode 9, Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) spies Ser Meryn Trant and follows his company as they go into a brothel as she trains to be a Faceless Men assassin. In the brothel, she witnesses the controversial scene involving Beattie's character.

Outshining the death of Shireen Baratheon (Kerry Ingram) in the episode, Ser Meryn Trant ordered the owner of a brothel to provide him with a girl who looked not older than 12 and for the next night, he would require a "fresh girl" of her age.

Both "Game Of Thrones" season 5 episode 9 titled "The Dance Of Dragons" and episode 10 titled "Mother's Mercy" were directed by David Nutter. In a recent interview with Hollywood Reporter, Nutter talked about how they prepare for the fight scenes in the hit HBO series.

"You have rehearsal days and you figure it out," Nutter said. "I'm a big believer in preparation, preparation, preparation, not unlike episode 9, which was pretty involved as well. Also, if you enter the rehearsal process, you get a chance to figure out what does work and what doesn't work."
