"Grey's Anatomy" star Caterina Scorsone, who plays the role of Derek Shepherd's sister, recently talked about the cast of the ABC series.

In an interview with Design N Trend, Scorsone revealed how close the cast members of "Grey's Anatomy" are with one another. According to her, the show has been around for 12 seasons now so the cast have already formed a strong bond with one another.

The actress also shared how their close relationships have helped in their acting. Scorsone revealed how important it is for the cast members to be vulnerable when playing their roles. With this, the entire cast feels safe and secured when they are working together.

Meanwhile, Scorscone also confirmed that there will be a Grey's Con in Paris, an event that was created for loyal fans of the ABC series. The event will also pave the way for the cast member of "Grey's Anatomy" to meet some of their audiences.

In other news, Scorsone previously expressed her thoughts on the departure of Dempsey from Shonda Rhimes' hit show. During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Scorsone said that everyone felt sad when they heard the news.

Also according to her, Rhimes gathered the entire cast of "Grey's Anatomy" to announce Dempsey's exit. At that time, they all had mixed emotions. A part of them felt sad and unsure as to how the show will survive. On the other hand, they also felt positive because the actor's exit could only mean new stories will be told in season 12.

"Grey's Anatomy" season 12 will premiere on ABC in the fall.
