Facebook has tweaked its news feed algorithm again, this time showing more videos like the ones users have viewed in full screen, high definition (HD), and un-muted formats. The social medial giant now implies that users enjoyed such videos even if they did not click Like or Share, or make a comment.

TechCrunch reported that the News Feed's artificial intelligence (AI) determines that a Facebook user enjoyed the video based on his or her interaction. It will then show the digital clip to others.

Facebook video figures have already hit about four billion daily views. That is up from just one billion daily views in September 2014.       

However, the social network company wants to boost its view count more. The new News Feed algorithm will help as it learns which particular videos were exciting or boring to which viewers.               

Facebook also tweaked its algorithm a few weeks ago, to factor in how much time viewers lingered to view posts and views, according to IBN Live. When coupled with the new change, the company will be able to filter out low-quality and dull-as-dishwater videos.

The video clips must be eye-catching from the first millisecond. They should also be crystal clear even when playing in silent mode, as it is the default method until the Facebook user clicks on it.

The social networking giant's change follows adjustments to its software algorithm for Pages. Administrators now use a digital dashboard for functions such as tracking views of all shared videos, and spotting top videos' view count performance. 

In other related Facebook news, the tech giant announced a new video ad pricing option, after online marketers complained that they had been charged for advertisements that had racked up low view tallies, according to The Wall Street Journal. The new option only charges for video ads viewed for 10 or more seconds.
