A leaked image of new Blackberry's Android-enabled smartphone surfaced, appearing like Samsung’s Galaxy S6 Edge. The image was posted and shared by a Twitter user @evleaks or Evan Blass on Friday.

Blackberry’s new mobile device has curved sides and possessed a codename Venice, making it the very first Blackberry Android phone. The Android mobile device appears to be remarkably thin compared to its previous mobile line up and expected to slide up to reveal a keyboard beneath.

Venice features a standard micro USB port and headphone jack on its bottom, and some dots beneath the display that could be a speaker, and a couple of volume buttons on the side, according to Business Insider.

Evan Blass stated that Venice has interesting features on its software. The Android mobile device is definitely adopting the Android Lollipop version, and lots of apps from standard offerings. These apps include BBC, Evernote, Candy Cam, Bing, and Canada Post that users will surely enjoy.

In addition, Venice will have shortcut icons on the home screen that will let the users quickly access the call and text features, 9to5Google reported.

Android-powered BlackBerry Venice slider will also have the well-known BlackBerry features like BlackBerry Hub to Google’s mobile OS, Plus, Venice will also offer its Messenger app to Android users. BlackBerry also offers Messenger, Hub, and the patented predictive text feature.

Previously, Blackberry has dominated the smartphone market, but now, it has only one percent market share. The tweet also stated that it Venice will be launched around November.
