The Instagram belfie, or butt selfie, post of Canadian pop singer Justin Bieber appears to have given Kim Kardashian's November People magazine cover, which broke the internet, competition in terms of views as well as memes generated. A few hours after the "Baby" singer showed the world his plump backside, naught memes appeared on social media.
Belfies are popular because the rear presents an exciting and mysterious part of the human anatomy which shows a region considered attractive. However, at the same time butt images are mysterious because it is just the flipside of a person's genitals which are not visible when taking belfies, notes the New York Post, citing evolutionary scientists
And Justin's privates not seen by the Instagram post tickled the imagination of Beliebers as it got 1.9 million likes and led some of them to create memes from the original belfie that Mashable compiled. Clevver News notes that at the rate the photo was liked, shared and commented, it shattered the internet.
IG member @JdbMyadore placed a larger image on the mountain opposite Bieber and captioned the meme with: "That moment when ur jealous of a mountain." @rauhltella added a chopper image between the mountain and Justin. The chopper had fans looking at the frontal perspective.
Two really funny memes was one that placed the head of Kim on Justin's body and one that had five different sizes of the same photo positioned so that the next smaller size appears to be poking Justin's butt crack. @melissareyesx placed Kim's original photo on the right and made Justin's photo on the left have a backside as large as Kardashian's behind.
@rauhlin_with_jb made the IG photo look like a painting on display in an art gallery with a female visitor viewing the framed "painting." @camilabpaulo had a young female fan on the right with her palms ready to grab Bieber's hot buns.
@MakeOutWithBieb didn't use the image but posted a photo of an AUV submerged, with the caption "beliebers when they realize Justin is naked in the middle of the ocean." @biebersexyhoe showed a group huddled and captioned, "beliebers praying for justin to turn around."
Finally, @h0rnyBizzle used three of the four frames of the post to show the mountain with eyes, the two "Os" of Google trademark substituted with the round cheeks of Bieber's posterior and Spongebob as an asslicker.
Besides Justin, other celebrities - mostly females - also posted belfies recently on IG. The list includes Rihanna, Kendall Jenner, Emily Ratajkowski, Lady Gaga, Amber Rose, Joan Smalls and Doutzen Kroes.
