Though the infamous viral video, showing Ariana Grande maliciously licking donuts at a California shop brought her extreme criticism, the business of the shop is booming like never before, owing to the influx of the singer's fans.
Joe Marin, the owner of Wolfee Donuts, where the "Problem" singer and her rumored boyfriend were caught on camera spitting and licking donuts that were kept on display, declared recently that the customers are unperturbed by the singer's act and the business of the shop has now tripled, TIME reported.
However, Marin is still furious with the singer's lowly behavior and disrespectful comments.
"She forgot that America buys your tickets, that's why you're me," Marin told The Wrap, commenting on Grande's recorded exclamation that she hates America.
The incident happened at around 11:30 pm on July 4 when Grande and her rumored boyfriend walked in his store. Marin disclosed that he failed to observe their behavior at the time and decided to go through the day's footage out of curiosity as some staff member told him that there was a celebrity amidst them.
Marin, who was reportedly shocked to see the singer's act on the video, also claimed that while she licked the frosted donuts, she also spit on the powdered ones. He is also apparently not convinced by the singer's recently released video, where she talked about being a proud American, but fails to apologize to him for insulting his merchandise.
Meanwhile, Grande has uploaded a second apology video on her YouTube account on July 9. This is her second apology video as her first one was slammed by her fans, in which she ranted about disadvantages of obesity and bad eating practice instead of her own behavior and comments.
