What happened to Stannis Baratheon? Did he die in "Game of Thrones" Season 5 finale? It has yet to be seen if Jon Snow is coming back to "Game of Thrones" Season 6. The GoT panel at San Diego Comic-Con was eventful and fun.

At the comic-con, Gwendoline Christie revealed that she knows that "Game of Thrones" are angry at Brienne for missing the candle of Sansa. However, she is set to defend the actions of her character. She explained the she didn't blow the candle via TVLine.

Christies added that people should give her a break as she had to stand for three months watching a window for a candle.

"Game of Thrones" Season 5 finale director David Nutter talked to Entertainment Weekly at the comic-con and said that Stannis is dead. His death was not shown in the finale episode.

"From the very beginning, and [through] the script process, that was the intent - he's dead," Nutter revealed. Brienne swayed Oathkeeper at Stannis and the scene was cut. Many believe that he might return in "Game of Thrones" Season 6 as his death was not shown. However, after Nutter's statement it is clear that he is not coming back.

Maisie Williams talked about Arya's lack of sight in "Game of Thrones" Season 6. Williams revealed that she has no idea how Arya will deal with this.

Meanwhile, "Game of Thrones" audition tape was screened at comic-con. The audition reel featured Pedro Pascal (Oberyn Martell), Gwendoline Christie (Brienne Tarth), Natalie Dorner (Margaery Tyrell) and others.
