Vine app was just updated that eased searching for popular video creators. All that users of the video-sharing site have to do is open the new "Suggested Viners" section that was carefully curated by the website's team to ensure that those listed offer really worthy content such as this compilation of funny Vine videos.

Those on the Vine list are creators of six-second videos with whom users share common interests and selected by the app's team. The new feature is accessed by clicking the "Find People" icon found on the portal's top left part, said Kristian Bauer, Vine engineer, in a blog post, reports Tech Times.

The new feature follows the introduction in June of better search functionality where users could type specific phrases to find content. Previously, Vine search was limited to hashtags and usernames. Vine also recently allowed users to link their Twitter accounts and Address Book outside their immediate circle of friends and Twitter networks. It is an improvement from limiting the search for similar Viners to friends who are users of the app.

Also upgraded in March was the ability of iOS users to view in 720p from 480p. Uploading would now also be allowed for six-second 720p HD content. To enable these features in iOS-, Windows- and Android-run phones, Viners must update their Vine app.

The upgrades are similar to recent changes in Instagram, owned by Facebook that began to support 1080p image uploads on its platform, notes Thenextdigit.
