The screw holes indicate that the Cupertino-based tech giant may possibly use different loudspeaker module. Its metal housing is rumoured to be made of aluminum alloy that the one found in the current iPhone 6 series, suggesting the 6S would be a little thicker than the iPhone 6 that measures 7.1mm. This reflects the past rumors about the new casing of the handset. The new casing is a little bit wider and taller about 0.15 millimeters, according to Apple Insider.

The aluminum alloy belongs to the 7000 Series aluminium, and it is also found on Apple Watch Sport. The alloy is said to be 60 percent stronger than most aluminum, with just one-third the density of stainless steel.

The leaked images also indicate that iPhone 6 Plus will feature a more powerful chipset. The next generation iPhone will have a screen display with Force Touch. iPhone 6 Plus may also have a 12MP camera with 4K video recording, GSM Arena reported.

The Cupertino-based tech company is also expected to launch a new set of colors for the next iPhone, including a new rose or pink gold shade. It is said that Apple Inc. is planning to unveil the next iPhone in September and the retail launch is rumored to be on Sept. 18.
