Banks, who is known for her "America's Next Top Model" (ANTM) franchise, would share the roundtable in the lifestyle-centric show with fashionista Joe Zee, food writer Chrissy Teigen, interior designer Lauren Makk and Leah Ashley, a do-it-yourself YouTube sensation.

The show airs weekdays at 10 a.m., after ABC Action News where she stopped by on Thursday to share about her new show. To welcome Tyra, WFTV hosted a luncheon at the Grand Bohemian.

While Tyra was promoting "FABLife," WFTV anchor Greg Warmoth introduced her to Vanessa Echols, another anchor in WFTV who battled cancer and supports cancer patients. Echols triumphed over breast cancer in 2004 and later established Compassionate Hands and Heart Breast Cancer Outreach, a charity, reports Orlando Sentinel.

The two, co-anchors in WFTV morning shows for 15 years, were teamed up again in March for a 4 p.m. show. "FABLife" is the pre-programming for Echols and Warmoth's show on WFTV-Channel 9.

Tyra's flagship, ANTM, debuted in 2003 and has gone through 21 cycles. Recent cycles included male contestants. A cycle includes makeovers, mid-season trip abroad, go-sees and the finale featuring the top two contestants in a themed catwalk competition.

For its new season, to start in August, Tyra said in a recent Instagram post that because models have to compete with actresses, recording artists and reality show personalities for commercials and magazine spreads, the contestants must be "skinnier than skinny" and "slimmer than slim." This contrasts with past cycles when she sent an anorexic contestant home and took in plus-size contestants.
