"Hart of Dixie" alum Rachel Bilson recently broke her silence over rumors that her pregnancy caused the cancellation of the CW series.

According to E! News, the 33-year-old actress recently posted a throwback photo of herself on the set of "Hart of Dixie" and explained that she did not have anything to do with the show's cancellation just after four seasons.

On her Instagram account, Bilson added that she had so much fun playing the role of Zoe Hart in the series and added that she also loved "Hart of Dixie" in general. However, Bilson was not able to mention the real reason behind the show's axing.

Meanwhile, "Hart of Dixie" star Jaime King previously spoke about the series and hinted on the possibility that it was cancelled because of Bilson pregnancy.

In an interview with Us Weekly, King revealed that some of the episodes from season 4 were shot quickly because of Bilson's growing baby bump. At that time, King said that Bilson went on full maternity leave just a day after their last filming day for season 4.

King also said in a separate interview that "Hart of Dixie" was not cancelled due to low ratings. This has led fans to speculate that, indeed, the series was cancelled because of Bilson.

In other news, King recently gave birth to her second child, a boy, and godmother Taylor Swift already met the infant in person. Photos of the "Blank Space" singer's meet up with King's son were posted via the singer's Instagram and Twitter accounts.
