Several Microsoft Lumia 950 XL photos have surfaced along with its rumored specifications. In the new pictures, a prototype model of the upcoming Lumia 950 XL phablet codenamed Cityman have surfaced can can be seen placed inside a case.

On the other hand, viewers can still make out the brilliant rounded corners of the phablet, Windows Central reported. It will be sporting polycarbonate chassis in matte white and black color options.

The Lumia 950 XL will be a dual-SIM handset that will be coming with a 5.7 inches screen supporting Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. It will be the first ever handset running on Windows to come such an advanced resolution display.

Also, along with the Microsoft Lumia 950 (codenamed as Talkman), it will be one of the first smartphones to come with Windows 10 Mobile OS preloaded. It will be running on Snapdragon 810 chipset that will assisted by 3 GB of RAM.

The native storage on the device will be 32 GB. It will also be coming with support for microSD card slot.

It will be blessed with 20 MP PureView technology enabled rear camera and triple LED flash. The selfie camera of the Lumia 950 XL will be of 5 MP.

Some of the other impressive features that will be available on the Lumia 950 XL include the USB Type-C connector, Qi wireless charging and iris scanner through Windows Hello feature. It will be equipped with a replaceable battery of 3,300 mAh capacity.

The Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL are expected be announced through an unveiled in October. The Redmond giant is heavily rumored to showcase the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 and Microsoft Band 2 fitness tracker at the same event, GSM Arena reported.
