"Allegiant" star Theo James recently opened up about what it is like to have a cynical family. The actor also talked about his relationship with his eldest brother.
In an interview with Flickering Myth, James revealed that his family is kind of cynical about his acting career. The actor also recounted a time when his eldest brother mocked him for a song that he wrote.
At the age of 13, James wrote a love song and then performed it in front of his brother. At that time, his brother could not help but admit to him that his song was terrible. James did not take it against him and instead realized that their entire family could be really honest with one another.
Meanwhile, James also talked about the biggest advice that his brother gave him. According to him, his brother constantly reminds him to never take things too seriously and to never take himself very seriously. This is because there is a chance that it could damage him as a person.
In other news, James also opened up about the kind of relationship he shares with his co-star Shailene Woodley. After working on three films together, James and Woodley have shared a wonderful friendship. Some fans have been linking the two romantically but James has been adamant at denying such reports.
Still, James could not deny the kind of friendship she has with Woodley. He said that they are professionals at work but they maintain a close bond in the real world, Australia Network News reported.
"Allegiant - Part 1" is slated to hit theaters in the United States on Mar. 18, 2016.
