The road to the 2016 Rio Olympics has begun and Team USA is already working double time to get ready for the biggest sporting event in the world. 

Yesterday, Team USA officially announced the 34-player roster joining the USA Men's Basketball mini camp in Las Vegas. The list includes some of the best players in the NBA and several All-Stars.

The roster list was announced via Twitter, which includes reigning NBA MVP Steph Curry, 2014 MVP Kevin Durant and four-time MVP LeBron James. All-star guards Russell Westbrook, John Wall, Klay Thompson, Chris Paul, James Harden and Kyrie Irving are also joining the camp next week. 

Frontcourt powerhouse Blake Griffin and newly signed Spur, LaMarcus Aldridge, are also joining the camp. Anthony Davis, Andre Drummond, Kenneth Farried, Tobias Harris and Dwight Howard will also be present. 

Other NBA stars joining the first training camp of Team USA for next year's Olympics include Rudy Gay, Draymond Green, Kawhi Leonard, Chandler Parsons, Mason Plumlee, Harrison Barnes and Carmelo Anthony. 

Duke University Blue Devils' champion coach, Mike Krzyzewski, will be leading the team as Head Coach again, while former Chicago Bulls Tom Thibodeau will be Assistant Coach. Oklahom City Thunder coach Monty Williams and Syracuse's Jim Boeheim will also be joining the coaching staff. 

Cleveland.com noted that the mini camp will include meetings, shootarounds and non-contact scrimmages. The camp aims to gauge the players interest in joining Team USA and their commitment to the entire process.

The 2016 Olympics will be held at Rio De Janeiro, Brazil next year.
