Scott's pack will continue to deal with "The Dread Doctors" in the upcoming "Teen Wolf" Season 5, episode 8 titled "Ouroboros" as Dr. Deaton discovers something shocking about the villains in Beacon Hills. Furthermore, the latest casting reports on the MTV series teased that the fans will finally meet Malia's mom, who is also known as "The Desert Wolf."
The next episode's synopsis in TV Guide teased that Scott (Tyler Posey) and Malia (Shelley Hennig) will embark on a mission to save Liam (Dylan Sprayberry) and Hayden (Victoria Moroles) from "The Dread Doctors." In the previous episode titled "Strange Frequencies," the Dread Doctors still managed to capture Hayden as well as Liam even though Scott had a plan to help and protect his pack from the mysterious villains in Beacon Hills.
In the "Teen Wolf" Season 5, episode 8 "Ouroboros" promo video, Scott worries about Liam and Hayden's condition in the hands of their enemies. "Why are they doing this to us?" Hayden asks in the promo video.
The episode synopsis also teased that Dr. Alan Deaton (Seth Gilliam) will discover something horrendous about the Dread Doctors. Meanwhile, the casting reports on "Teen Wolf" Season 5 teased that Malia will finally meet her biological mother, only known as "The Desert Wolf," in "Teen Wolf" Season 5.
Malia's flashbacks in the fifth episode titled "A Novel Approach" revealed "The Desert Wolf" was responsible for the car accident that killed Malia's adoptive mother and sister. An exclusive TVLine report revealed that "NCIS" actress Marisol Nichols has been cast as "The Desert Wolf."
However, the specific details of Nichols' debut appearance in "Teen Wolf" Season 5 are being kept under wraps. "Teen Wolf" Season 5 is set to return on Monday night, Aug. 10, with episode 8 titled "Ouroboros" which will air at 10/9c on MTV.
