It might be Mayuri's toughest fight yet. The mad scientist is pulling out all his tricks just to evaded Pernida's attacks. But can he ever defeat the Left arm of the Soul King?
Pernida is proving to be a formidable foe for Mayuri as his nerve attack expands to control inanimate objects. Mayuri has his bag of tricks and inventions, and he manages to strike a blow but even that blows up in his face.
The key element here is that despite Mayuri's bravado, he is actually weary and caught off-guard that his one offensive move still backfired on him. Even though, he managed to stitch himself together, the nerve attack continues and he's running out of places to run.
The key for the next chapter is whether Mayuri will continue to be pushed into evading Pernida's attacks or can he actually inflict some real damage. The wild card, though, is that Pernida's full abilities have yet to be determined. That's what Mayuri is trying to do, but will he figure it out before he gets killed?

"As Mayuri starts to look weary of the fight at hand, it is hard not to think of the possibility that he might indeed lose this battle against Pernida. However, I will not be pulling the plug just yet for the mad scientist as we've seen him escape death once before (like when he fought against Uryuu)."
Mayuri has allies though, and "that they could possibly help in changing the outcome of this fight. Given that Hantaro Yamada can heal others, he might be able to help either Kenpachi or Mayuri get their energy back to defeat Pernida."
That is a possibility but the extent of Pernida's nerve attack can allow him (it?) to fight against multiple foes all at once.
However, BleachStates predicts that Mayuri will find a way. The body modifications are not new, and Mayuri has even turned to liquid in the past. The mad scientist can continue to evade the attacks long enough for him to find the weakness in his opponent.
