The hooded figure that has been tormenting the liars for the past couple of years was revealed to be Cece or Charlotte or Charles.
On Tuesday night's episode entitled "Game Over, Charles," Alison DiLaurentis finally came face-to-face with her older sister, who she initially thought was her older brother.
In a shocking twist of events, Cece revealed that she only tormented the liars because when she saw for the first time, they all seemed to be very happy that Alison has already passed away, according to Variety.
Unfortunately, Cece's revelation was not all that convincing, but fans were left with no other option but to digest the fact that "A" and Charles was one and the same person.
Meanwhile, what was a bit confusing was the fact that Sara Harvey, Emily's new love interest, has always been in on the plan. It was revealed that Sara and Cece have both been working together and they have known each other for quite some time because they both stayed at Radley.
Upon learning about this, Emily could not believe what she heard and saw and at one point during the episode, Emily saw Sara wearing a red coat. Apparently, Sara wanted the liars to die, or it seems that this was what Cece instructed her to do because she was quite convincing when she kissed Emily.
In other news, the episode with a first look of the five-year time-jump. The liars will reunite after they have learned that a man is running after Alison.
"Pretty Little Liars" season 6 will air the second half of the show in the next couple of months.
