It is about a year since the famous release of the iPhone 6, and logically the Apple launch rumors are already in the air. Here are some of the hearsays going around:
1. Spring Break
Rumors have it that, just like last year, the next segment of the iPhone platform will be revealed - together with some other devices - in the second week of September. There is no confirmation so far, but news from Buzz Feed points towards a Sept. 9 launch - the exact date that iPhone 6 and 6 Plus were launched in 2014. The new phone to be released is iPhone 6s and definitely the 6s Plus as is tradition with Apple from the previous reiterations of its flagship smartphone.
2. Force Touch
Although the upcoming phone may resemble in many ways its precursor, the company's proprietary "Force Touch" perceived on the current MacBook and Apple Wearable Smartwatch will reportedly come to iPhone 6s. the implication is that users of the next iPhone have additional functions through application of force to a screen apart from just swiping or tapping.
Developers are already devising ways of incorporating the additional function into the franchises, and some have shown that the reputable Home button is coming.
3. Bender Defender
Last year, apple Inc. denied claims that the large screen iPhone 6 and 6 Plus could bend under pressure. This year, the tech giant seems to have taken the controversy seriously. "Unbox Therapy" revealed a new chassis, seemingly leaked from the developer, with an exact measuring equipment and noted it was three-quarters of a millimeter thicker that the initial model.
Amid the extra pressure, the new component was 2 g lighter, indicating an improved aluminum alloy might be at work.
4. iPad Unveiled
The company may as well launch the latest iPad iterations on the same date, including the speculated iPad Pro. iPad Air 2 and Mini 3 were released a bit later in the segment last year in October. Information from Twitter shows that iPad Mini 4 is coming, and has many similarities with the current iPad Air 2. Hopefully, there will be a 12.9-inch iPad Pro that the company has been creating for long.
5. Smart Box
Although there have been major enhancements in the online video entertainment, there has not been one from Apple's video streaming gadget for more than three years. According to The Age, a new Apple TV box might emerge as mentioned at the World Wide developers Conference earlier this year. Apple may bring along with it some curatorial features seen in the recent ventures like Music and the upcoming News app.
