"Falling Skies" season 5 finale winds up in a few weeks and things are moving fast for the TNT show.
Although there is yet any information about the conclusion of the show, reports indicate that some of the actors loved by fans may not even make it to the finale.
"Falling Skies" episode 8, which will be aired on Aug. 16, Sunday, has already leaked. According to the episode's synopsis from Cartermatt, "Weaver discovers a shocking reality concerning an old friend and decides to protect the 2nd Mass. Meanwhile, Maggie and Isabella are compelled to collaborate, and Tom leads an attempt to escape by the 2nd Mass."
A report from Examiner indicates the last episode revealed the 2nd Mass arriving at a military based shipped by Captain Kate Marshall - Weaver's old flame.
The crew also shared some spoilers. Conner Jessup (Ben Manson) recently teased that some of the cast of "Falling Skies" will have a happy conclusion while other will have a bad conclusion. He unveiled that he was satisfied with ending assigned to his character.
He added, "The show has centered on Tom (Noah Wyle) transforming from a mild-mannered background professor who always safeguarded the civilians and fought against Weaver military matters to almost the opposite, where he changes into a colder and harder and more belligerent and Weaver almost changes to be gentler and more humane."
In an interview, executive producer Olatunde Osunsanmi said that it is hard to eliminate characters since there is a particular trauma in killing them off the show. However, he acknowledged that it has been very tricky concerning the time to combine loose ends before the final episode since there were many characters to be careful about. The executive producer has assured fans that season finale will be wild.
