A Western Conference heavyweight battle between the Vancouver Whitecaps (13-9-3, 42 points) and FC Dallas (11-7-5, 38 points) will be underway at the BC Place in Vancouver on Saturday as the 2015 Major League Soccer regular season moves forward.

The two clubs last met almost a year ago also at the BC Place with the Caps blanking the Toros, 2-0. The Blue and White have never beaten the Hoops at their home field of Toyota Stadium in all of their five matches there all-time.

Vancouver had just suffered one of their strangest defeats in team history as Sporting Kansas City fought its way back after being down 1-3 to overtake Carl Robinson's squad, 4-3, at the Sporting Park in Kansas last Saturday, as reported by ESPN.

The Caps were ahead by two goals in the 81st-minute when SKC attackers Dominic Dwyer and Paulo Nagamura led the unbelievable comeback.

Meanwhile, Dallas is also coming off a loss, their second straight, against fellow West powerhouse squad, the newly reloaded LA Galaxy, 1-2, at home, via the MLS official website.

Galaxy's resident striker Robbie Keane burned Dallas with two goals in the second half to put away the game for Los Angeles.

The prediction is a tough 2-1 victory for the Caps over the Toros. Vancouver was not defeated in their last three home games versus Dallas and they are out to bounce back from the sorry setback against Sporting KC last week.
