Samsung's new "Active" model for the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 are speculated to be released in 3 months after the recent release of the flagship model.

Rumors have been circulating about the more strong-featured Note 5 Active, set to be released in November, following the Samsung's trend with their previous flagship models.

The phone allegedly boasts a large battery, speculated to be at a maximum of 4100 milliampere-hour and a minimum of 3000, providing more active users to use the phone without charging for longer periods of time, according to CNet.

Basing on previous active trends, this model will also be dustproof and a water-resistance rating at IP68, making it all the more rugged for users who enjoy a vigorous lifestyle.

As with the trend with previous Active releases, the capacitive buttons will be substituted with physical buttons, assuring users that the buttons will be easily accessible and will not be affected by dust and water. The screen size is speculated to be the same size with its flagship phone, with a wide 5.7" screen.

Not much else is revealed in the leak, but with the present examples set by the previous models of the phone, the design and the material used would be different from that of the original variant.

Instead of having glass being used as the back and front panels, the design might call for a sturdier plastic model. This encourages the more active lifestyle oriented people, Samsung's targeted audience that their product can follow through their promise of durable phones, Forbes reported.

Meanwhile, here are still qualms from the public about the absence of expandable memory slots and removable batteries in Samsung's later models, which may also affect the Note 5 active.

Samsung is battling for its position in the phone business as the highest grossing manufacturers with Xiaomi and the like are closing with their lower prices and sufficient hardware.
