A high-profile matchup between the Minnesota Vikings and Dallas Cowboys is set in Week 3 of the 2015 NFL Preseason games at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on August 29, Saturday.

The Vikings are 3-0 in the preseason, counting their 14-3 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers during the Hall of Fame Weekend. Coach Mike Zimmer's boys dispatched the challenge of Tampa Bay in Week 1, 26-16, then outlasted the Raiders in Week 2, 20-12, via ESPN, for a still perfect offseason record.

This match with the Cowboys is the perfect avenue for Zimmer to know if his backup units are as strong as he thinks they are.

Meanwhile, Dallas is 0-2 this offseason as Jason Garrett is not really known to take preseason games seriously.

The Cowboys are a playoff contender on paper, and Garrett would like to preserve his starters for the regular season as much as possible.

Their last game was a 23-10 loss to the San Francisco 49ers at the Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, as per Bleacher Report.

Prediction: Vikings win, 30-12
