Tech giant Google recently announced that it will roll out a new feature that will automatically populate the Google Calendar with user information about airplane ticket, flight schedule as well as hotel and restaurant.

While this feature is already released for users of Gmail, the latest update further broaden its support for Google App users. An example cited by Tech Crunch explain that if users booked an airline flight or reserve a hotel room, all these items will be automatically added on the user's Calendar app and will notify the user if the exact time of the event is available.

This new feature is automatically turned on by default. While most user review find the new update as a sign of relief, notifications can be pretty annoying once it starts to spam the user's Calendar. On the other hand, users will always have the option to delete the items once they are added.

The new feature is also integrated with Google Now. User who asks Google Now about their flight schedule will receive a well detailed response based on the entry coming from their Calendar. Users also have the option to make necessary changes on their initial plan once they receive notification from the Calendar app.

According to Android Police, a notification will be rolled out to Calendar users that will explain the new update. Unfortunately, Google Apps for Government users will not be able to use this new feature.

Google app users should be able to receive the new update within the coming weeks.
