Kanye West's was well-behave in this year's MTV Video Music Awards. Not only did he display a more impressive behavior, he also achieved another milestone by being VMA's vanguard awardee. 

History repeated itself at the recent VMA. Swift won an award over Beyonce. Everyone turned to West expecting another newsworthy reaction. West, however, chose to smile. He pretended that he was sleeping on the shoulders of Kim Kardashian, Business Insider reported.

In 2009, both Swift and Beyonce were nominated forVMA's Best Female Video Category. Winning the award, the "Love Story" singer joyfully walked towards the stage. When she started speaking, West suddenly appeared to grab Swift's award, he said, "I'm really happy for you. Imma let you finish, but Beyonce have one of the best videos of all time." Beyonce was speechless by West's sudden declaration.

In the recent VMA, West won the Video Vanguard Award, MVA's lifetime achievement award, is an honor given to musicians who have made a profound effect on the music television culture.

Tasked to present the award, Swift took the opportunity to express her admiration for West and to befriend him six years after the controversial VMA night, Hollywood Life reported.

Swift recalled that she first met West six years ago at the VMA. Since then the two were able to catch each other and talk about different things. People around the world knew of their infamous encounter on the MVA stage. Few people know that West's album "College Drop-out" was the first album Swift and her brother bought on iTunes when Swift was 12. Swift praised West for his dedication towards music.  

West received the award and, in his speech, he announced his plan to run as president in the upcoming United States election.

Kanya West was called out by President Barrack Obama and countless Swiftees online for disrupting the speech of Taylor Swift during MTV VMA 2009.
