Passion is the fuel that drives a well-oiled machine to reach a once-seemingly impossible journey's end.
During a recent interview with WWE.com, NXT Divas Champion, Bayley, openly discussed her epic match at TakeOver: Brooklyn, the awe-inspiring aftermath, and her road to the title.
"It was one of the most overwhelming moments in my life," Bayley said about her NXT Divas title match against Sasha Banks.
She continued, "It may be the most magical moment I'll ever have in wrestling or life."
The 26-year-old feeds off the love she gets before, during, and even after the match.
"Hearing the crowd react like that was something I've never heard before," she said. "After the match, Vince McMahon shook both our hands. Everyone was giving us hugs."
She's also one of those individuals who are not just fortunate enough to rub elbows with their idols, but also receive praises for a job well done.
"Triple H, Stephanie, and even my favorite Diva, Lita, were there to say how proud they were of us. It was just amazing."
For someone who has dreamt about this moment all her life, Bayley was - understandably - overcome with emotions following the event.
"All I could do was cry. I was crying because of everything I've been through to get here, how I got here, who I was in there with, how many people were there with us," she recalled. "I was literally living the dream."
She even shared encouraging words everyone can live by.
"I want every single person out there with a dream, no matter what it is, to know that it is possible," said the Newark, California-native. "And it's possible to do it your way, the way you believe in. Nobody can deny your heart."
Bayley also compared her journey to that of her recent opponent, "It sounds so cheesy, but Sasha Banks and I had the same dream since we were 10-years-old, and wrestling brought us together to prove that anything you want to do is within reach."
Though it may seem that the NXT Divas championship is the fruition, the end result of all the hard work she's put in, Bayley's career-defining moment was just a step closer toward conquering an uncharted destination.
