From SummerSlam matches and Beat the Clock challenges, to a former NXT Divas Champion getting her first shot at a major title, the ongoing Divas Revolution is slowly picking up steam every week.

These Divas represent a wonderful mix of veteran in-ring performers with the likes of Team Bella members and Team BAD's Naomi; up-and-coming wrestlers in Paige, Becky Lynch, and Sasha Banks; and the legendary pedigree of Charlotte and Tamina.

However, one glaring absence in this storyline is the third-generation WWE Diva, Natalya.

The former Divas champion sat down with Sam Roberts of Wrestling Podcast, and discussed about being excluded on the angle.

"To be honest, I don't know why I'm not included in this," Natalya said. "I don't have an answer. I really don't. And your guess is as good as mine."

During the recently concluded SummerSlam, she was just relegated as a spectator.

"There was a part of me where I was like, 'I'm going to have a hard time watching all of the girls compete and not being a part of it,'" she claimed. "And I feel like there is so much of me that is wanting to be a part of it."

Natalya's trailblazing match versus Charlotte on the very first NXT TakeOver event last year also came up during the interview.

"I've grown up around wrestling my entire life," the daughter of Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart shared. "I never thought that a match in front of 400 people, a match at Full Sail University, in front of 400 people, would be one of the highlights of my career."

The native of Calgary, Alberta, Canada credits the WWE's Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events, and Creative, for allowing her to blossom on her own terms.

"Triple H, actually, gave me the opportunity to have the match and basically the freedom to create and to do everything that I wanted to do,"

She added, "Triple H gave me the freedom to create and invent and to have no limitations because, for a long time, I'm not afraid to say it, for a long time, Nattie was looked at in WWE by the powers that be [as] maybe too wrestlery."

The WWE Universe sees a collection of beautiful and talented competitors pour their hearts out in between the ropes, and Natalya has the utmost faith that she can once again join the fray and parade her wares inside the ring.

"I just have to trust in the powers that be. I have to trust in the universe," she explained. "And right now is not my time and I'll just help everybody celebrate their time and be supportive of them because one day it will be my time."
