Just like the name suggests, Rashid moves as fast as wind, and has the ability of using wind-based attacks that cause big damages to his enemy. Rashid's final attack sees him in the air entangled in a tornado as he traps his unlucky opponent in it.

Recently, the game added a young female called Rainbow Mika to the fighters. Mika was first seen in "Street Fighter Alpha 3" and did not appear in any other franchise until now.

According to PlayStation, Mika in "Street Fighter V" is described as "A flamboyant young wrestler, Mika dreamed of one day becoming a star in the ring, much like her idol Zangief. Training under the strict tutelage of her coach, she traveled the world engaging in random matches with street fighters in order to spread her name and popularity."

Furthermore, the first new character for "Street Fighter V" was unveiled to be Necalli, a savage and aggressive brawler in combat. Necalli's V-Trigger changes his hair and gives it a strong reddish appearance.
