According to a biography being authored by best-selling author Sean Smith, Kim Kardashian's face and figure are worth approximately $85 million. 

Unquestionably, the Kardashian/Jenner family knows how to stay in the spotlight and make money. Their biggest selling points are the controversy and the body.

The new biography reveals the details about how Kardashian became a star from being Paris Hilton's stylist, to having notorious sex tape, to marrying Kris Humphries and Kanye West. 

Author Sean Smith says: "It's as if Kim stood in front of the mirror and decided how best to utilize every bit of herself. Every part of her is worth something. Ironically, the one thing product-free is her most famous asset. Kim has no endorsements connected to her bottom."

The reality star has transformed herself into a trademark to promote a range of beauty products. She has the extraordinary skill to market herself.

Mrs. West's celebrated curvaceous buttock is said to be insured for $23 million-plus. Now she has launched her phone app and her new subscription website to further add to her wealth.

Now pregnant with her second child, Kardashian caused a controversy by promoting the morning sickness medication Diclegis on Instagram. She made over $2 million from her wedding to Humphries in 2011.

Meanwhile, her husband Kanye West's net worth is reported to be $130 million. 

Kardashian's earnings are from endorsements and selling products from Kard­ashian Kollection, according to Mirror.

"Keeping Up With the Kardashians," star has $30 million from Kard­ashian Kollection. She models her Kardashian Kollection Intimates lingerie, Divinity Collection swimsuits and Muscle Flex sports bras.

The Kardashian makeup range has 12 items including mascara, eye- shadow, and six types of eyelashes as well as sunglasses. She has her own Kim-pletely In Love nail-paint line with the OPI cosmetics and eight shades of lipsticks

Mrs. West models for Sketchers Shape-Up shoes and also co-founded Shoedazzle. Kardashian Kollection Beauty Hair Products include; Black Seed Dry Oil, dryers, straighteners and she promotes Tria at-home laser hair removal system.

Mother of North West reportedly had her rear insured for $21 million in 2014. She was paid $1506458 to promote a range of lollipops. She has sold trinkets from her Belle Noel and Virgins, Angels, and Saints ranges of celebrity jewelry.

Kardashian was paid $1,009,482 for endorsing Perfect Skin range, $ 2.4 million for her Glamour Tan, seven perfumes worth $18 million. She publicizes Fusion Beauty and QuikTrim weight-loss pills for $2.3 million.

Kim by Sean Smith (HarperCollins) is out on Sept. 25 reported Harper Collins. Dey Street Books in the US will publish "Kim" simultaneously.

Smith is the author of six "Sunday Times" bestsellers, including "Cheryl," the 2009 biography of Cheryl Fernandez-Versini.  The author has signed a deal for writing two biographies "Kim" and published last March for HarperCollins.
