The annual Emmy Awards are TV's biggest night and the television's finest stars have arrived for the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards.

The red carpet at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles was on fire as the stars stepped out on the red carpet in the best outfits. There were the common couture catastrophes, but a surprising number of superlative style statements too.

Sarah Hyland, Taraji P. Henson, Jamie Alexander, Kiernan Shipka and Claire Danes and Lady Gaga rocked the short hairstyle on the carpet and reigned supreme.

The biggest show-stopper of the night  was Hyland sported a Plum  off- shoulder, floor-length Zac Posen number. Her makeup was done by Allan Avendano using Dior, IT Cosmetics and St. Tropez tanning products. The "Modern Family" actress wore her dark-blonde hair loose in a shoulder-length bob, precisely the same length as her dangling earrings.

Henson was clad in Alexander Wang creation with chain-link straps. "Empire" star turned heads in the black gown with a cutout at the chest, and a skirt with lace.  The 45-year-old actress completed her look with black sandals, box clutch and a silver bracelet.

Alexander wore an Armani Prive sequined creation. Full sleeved floor-length gown was perfect for the evening a slicked-back style. The star of the NBC series "Blindspot" arrived with fiancé Peter Facinelli.

Shipka walked out  in Dior creation. Her golden yellow top with black pants ensemble was looking different and fabulous.Emma Roberts stole the show in a pearl Giuseppe Zanotti gown. She looked simply stunning. 

Danes stunned in a mauve sequined Prada gown.The three-time Emmy winner looked stylish in floor length sequined dress. The "Homeland" star's gown looked unique with thick chain straps over the shoulders and under her bust.

Kerry Washington was dressed in metallic mesh Marc Jacobs gown and she was looking awesome. She accented  the long slit gown with metallic stilettos, National Sun Times reported.

Lady Gaga looked ladylike in the asymmetrical black gown by her longtime designer and friend Brandon Maxwell. The singer and upcoming "American Horror Story" actress looked absolutely stunning in a chic one-shoulder dress and keeping her accessories to a minimum wore a pair of diamond earrings. Gaga styled her blonde hair into a bob style. 

Aubrey Plaza looked great in Alexandre Vauthier.  With a 70s look, she has totally transformed her look. Deep V -neck and a sexy leg slit further enhance her look.

January Jones sported  a jade-hued Ulyana Sergeenko jumpsuit. The "Mad Men " alum  paired it with Tiffany & Co. Jewels flame brooch. She was looking fresh and sensuous in a fitted jumpsuit.

Jamie Lee-Curtis was clad in a black number. She amps it up with cuff details and no makeup.she wore the same  long-sleeved evening gown 26 years ago on Jan. 1, 1989.

Gina Rodriguez  rocked in a strapless, pink Lorena Sarbu gown. "The Jane the Virgin" actress and a first-time nominee was looking perfect in the gown made of silk tulle and decked out with beading.

Nominee and "Mad Men" star Elisabeth Moss stunned the onlookers in a magenta Oscar de la Renta dress and Beladora pearl and diamond baubles, Us Weekly reported.

The red carpet was covered with bright yellows, glittery golds and rich mustard hues. The chain link details and  Off-the-shoulder necklines have dominated the styling.  The  princess gowns, black dresses, and menswear-inspired fashion was in vogue.
