A few days ahead of the rumored Google Nexus 2015 release date on September 25, Amazon decides to lure in Android fans with the 2015 flagship by selling the Motorola Nexus 6 for as low as $350. At around the same time, the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P tease with free renders going online.

Amazon is making a solid case for Nexus fans to skip Google's upcoming hero phones, believed to be manufactured by LG and Huawei, and go for the Motorola-assembled Nexus 6.

The pitch highlights the fact that last year's Nexus remains a compelling - it's big and allows for many things to be accomplished, it's powerful and can measure up with both the LG and Huawei Nexus, it has a massive battery to last longer hours and it's cheaper now.

The Nexus 6 introductory price via the Google Play Store was $650 then reduced to $500 at the moment. It is likely that the sticker price will be further decreased to $400 one the Nexus 2015 becomes official but Amazon is preempting the expected Google move.

The online retail giant is pushing out the Nexus 6 32GB for only $350 and $400 for the 64GB model, according to BGR. It appears too that the downward price movement is permanent and if adjustments will be made soon the only direction is further down.

Meanwhile, as Nexus fans are mulling over the spate of irresistible Nexus 6 deals, with Best Buy and eBay joining the fray, concrete details on the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P appear to be firming up. Android Police had earlier allowed a peek of the handsets' retail packaging this week then the tech blog site followed up with press renders of the smaller Nexus phone.

Mostly, the leaked pictures confirmed the earlier indications that the LG-made Nexus will unbox in three color options - black, white and mint green. Also, the images merely echoed the earlier reports that the Nexus 5X will have a rear-located fingerprint scanner, situated right below the main camera lens.

On its report, Android Police also affirmed that buyers are getting a 5.2-inch screen with 1080p display in the Nexus 5X, which supposedly is built using the LG Nexus 5 as inspiration. Under the hood, the power source is the hexa-core Snapdragon that will work in tandem with 2GB of RAM and a 2700mAh battery pack.

The shooting prowess is headlined by a 12.3MP rear camera that is paired with a selfie-optimized 5MP front-facing camera, the report said. As already announced, the device debut will also mark the official rolling of Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Together with the 5.8-inch Nexus 6P from Huawei, the LG Nexus 5X will unpack on September 29 via a confirmed Google event in San Francisco but the actual release date of the devices is not expected until October 13.
