"Gotham" season 2 is underway and the trailer for episode two titled "Knock, Knock" was released by Fox. Gotham City appears to be in for a rude awakening as the villains have banded together to wreak havoc on the city that spawned them.
Be careful for spoilers below if you haven't seen episode one yet!
Subtitled "Rise of the Villains," season two debuted last night, showing Barbara Kean (Erin Richards) as one of the bad guys on the show.
Her transformation into a lunatic threw many viewers off last season, as that wasn't expected from a character who was supposed to be the future wife of Detective Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie).
Will Barbara now become Harley Quinn in this TV interpretation of the Batman mythos? Outer Places touched on this possibility while ComicBook.com also considered her potentially becoming the Joker.
Regardless of what she becomes, it's been a wild ride for Barbara as the expectations for her are now out the window.
Dccomicsmovie.com shared the trailer of episode two which shows how far the partnership between Barbara and Jerome Valeska (Cameron Monaghan) has come.
The two lead a band of escapees from Arkham Asylum. Jerome could well-become the Joker on the show eventually and this may be his first big crime in season two.
After Gordon is reinstated to the Gotham City Police Department, he is tasked to hunt down Barbara, Jerome, and the rest of the loosed Arkham inmates.
The next episode will also show Galavan (James Frain) take the next steps on his plans, Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) seek help from his dad's old friend to unlock his father's secrets, and Edward Nygma (Cory Michael Smith) descend further into madness and asks Kristine Kringle (Chelsea Spack) out for a date.
