Kate Middleton's brother James Middleton has reportedly broken up with his girlfriend Donna Air.
Middleton, 28, is back on the 'singles market', "The split happened a couple of weeks ago and it was James' decision. Poor Donna. She's more than a little bit heartbroken," an insider told The Sun, The Metro reported.. He continued on to say that James felt his relationship with TV presenter was not going to survive the long distance.
He also stated that the 8-year-age gap between the two may be another issue. Another Insider stated that Air and Middleton's mother, Carole Middleton, could not get along well, reported E!News.
Air, who was previously in a relationship with Damian Aspinall and has a daughter with him, posted an image on her Instagram account with caption, "Accept what is, let go of what was, have faith in what will be (even those itchy ears)." This has added to the rumors that the two have broken up..
Middleton and Air, dated for more than a couple of years. They met in Feb 2013 at Robin Birley's private members' club, London and started dating. The duo was noticed together on many occasions. In 2013, when James was asked whether they were going to marry any time soon, he was quick to say, "Am I getting married? What a ridiculous question! Um, we're enjoying our relationship as it is now," Now Magazine reported.
The news of their break-up has yet to be confirmed. Middleton and Air are yet to give a official statement regarding the same.
