"SOMA" enthusiasts were able to unveil the hidden code from the least expected venue of the game. It may seem like it's just part of the game without any significance. When in fact the simple plastic toy is the magical medium who gives series of numbers to be collected and used as code.
Once the player tries to flush the toy, it will give out numbers that may at first look like no importance, but once collected, it can be used as a password. The collected numbers can be used and encoded to a file named _supersecrets.rar in the installation directory of "SOMA" and unleash the reward. Unlike what curious players are expecting, the code will not let them enter another world but it will unlock a new location. The outmoded screenshots of deserted locations are some of the features that players will be able to see in the _supersecrets.rar file, according to Kotaku.
In some games, cheats aren't that hard to find and that's what differ "SOMA" from all others.
