Samsung is willing to shoulder the cost of your current installment plan from a competitor platform for the remainder of the year if you switch to their brand.

Endgadget reported this new promotion from Samsung that kicked off yesterday.

When a customer purchases one of their high-end gadgets, may it be a Samsung Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy S6 edge+, or a Galaxy Note 5 on an installment or lease plan, the company is willing to offer rebates of up to $120.

The Verge reports that despite producing some of the best smartphones this year, Samsung is struggling to entice people to buy the S6 and Note 5.

That's a pretty hefty offer from one of the top phone manufacturers in the world.

Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular, or Verizon subscribers (non-AT&T subscribers, basically) have until October 9 to avail of this promo when they purchase any of these phones.

That means you only have a little more than a week to make up your mind. Samsung is essentially saying that "either you pay for your current plan for the rest of the year or we do."

Not a bad deal but then customers also need to consider that once January 2016 kicks in you're on your own again in paying for whatever is left in your current plan.

For iPhone users who trade-in their phones, Samsung is willing to be more generous. How about an additional $100 Google Play gift card aside from the free installment payments 'til the end of the year?

That's a very tempting deal! Samsung hopes that this will get you to switch from being an iOs user to an Android user.
