New updates for "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" will have new patch content, file size of "Metal Gear Online 3" and its delay for the PC platform.
Konami announced that the next update for "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" might contain the latest feature in the game, "Metal Gear Online 3." The Japanese developer gave gamers a preview of "Metal Gear Online 3" during the Tokyo Game Show event two weeks ago as they introduced several classes, game modes and strategies on how they can survive the online game when it launches this month, Gameranx reported.
Aside from the new content, the download files size for "Metal Gear Online 3" in the PlayStation 4 console is said to be at 913GB in the Japanese PlayStation store as the servers for the new feature will be online this week. Gamers will have download several new contents as well as the latest update that Konami announce in order to play the "Metal Gear Online 3" properly, GamingBolt reported.
"Metal Gear Online 3" will be an online multiplayer game that allows gamers to create their own soldier and fight with a team against other opposing teams online. They also have the liberty to create and customize their Mother Base similar to the FOB missions in "The Phantom Pain."
There are three classes available in "Metal Gear Online 3" and they are the Scout, Enforcer and Infiltrator. The Scouts are the standard unit in the game as they are useful in spotting incoming enemies and they can use as snipers for the team. Infiltrators relay more on stealth and close range combat, which is useful for killing or interrogating enemies. Finally, the Enforcer are experts in frontline combat as they are equipped with body armor as well as heavy artillery.
Konami added the "Metal Gear Online 3" will also have three new game modes: Bounty Hunter, Comm. Control and Cloak and Dagger. Snake and Revolver Ocelot will also be playable characters as they bring their own unique gameplay skills in battle.
"Metal Gear Online 3" will launch on October 6 for the console versions, while the PC version is moved to January 2016 due to "updating timing" by Konami.
"Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One,PS3, Xbox 360 and for the PC platform.
