"American Horror Story: Hotel" (Season 5) starring Lady Gaga, Emma Roberts, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Wes Bentley, Lily Rabe, Kathy Bates, Naomi Campbell, Matt Bomer and more is set to premiere on Oct. 7, 2015. Season 5 of the anthology horror series takes place in a fictional Hotel Cortez situated in Los Angeles, California. A series of brutal crimes brings Wes Bentley's John Lowe to the hotel for investigation.
According to the synopsis (via SpoilerTV) for Episode 1 "Checking In" of "American Horror Story: Hotel" Season 5, John Lowe, who happens to be a family man, is assigned the task of investigating several violent crimes that recently took place in Los Angeles. An intriguing clue leads him to the "enigmatic" hotel Cortez where it all begins.
While not much is revealed about the forthcoming episode, promo videos tease the events of the premiere. Fans can expect to see some jaw dropping moments focusing on John Lowe's first visit to the hotel. Meanwhile, the opening credits sequence of "American Horror Story: Hotel" (AHS) Season 5 teasing a lot of disturbing scenes and a creepy soundtrack was recently released. Watch the video below.
Speaking at the "American Horror Story" premiere held in Los Angeles, the cast revealed that Season 5 is the "darkest" season yet.
"'Hotel,' taking place at the mysterious Hotel Cortez in L.A., is the darkest season yet," teased Wes Bentley, Cheyenne Jackson and Brad Falchuk as quoted by Variety.
"It's gorier than, I think, any of them so far, and it's scarier to me because it's more psychological and not just like, blood and guts," Cheyenne Jackson added.
"American Horror Story: Hotel" (AHS) Season 5 Episode 1 "Checking In" airs Oct. 7 at 10:00 pm on FX. Fans can also watch the premiere online through live stream on fxnetworks.com after the segment goes on air. Stay tuned for more spoilers and update.
