“My Love from the Star” Sign Endorsement Deals with Samsung

March 20^th, Samsung announces Kim Soo-hyun and Jeon Ji-hyun, who appeared as two star-crossed lovers in the hit SBS drama "My Love from the Star", have signed endorsement deals with Samsung Electronics to model for its products, including smartphone Galaxy S5, ultra-high definition (UHD) TV, tablet PCs and refrigerators of Samsung Electronics.

"We expect the brand image of Samsung can improve in China as Jeon Ji-hyun and Kim Soo-hyun will promote Samsung products together," said Park Jae-soon, Samsung Electronics' vice president for China. "Young consumers will find that Samsung Electronics' products becomes more close to them because their idols are promote these products."

The drama "My Love from the Star" has received 2.5 billion views on China's video-sharing sites. The drama series tells a story about an alien who landed on Earth 400 years ago in the Joseon Dynasty, who then falls in love with a top actress in the modern era. Kim Soo-hyun and Jun Ji-hyun acted the leading roles in the drama.
