The footage appears to be from chapter 34 of the series and shows Hanji Zoe finding a titan in the city walls, according to International Business Times.

He confronts Pastor Nick who, it turns out, may already be aware of the situation. Pastor Nick, however, will not share any information despite Zoe's threats to drop him from the wall.

The clip ends with Zoe trying to investigate if the whole wall is filled with titans and fans are left with this huge cliff-hanger.

Fans have had to wait for two long years to catch up on the adventures of Eren Yeager, Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert because the production team have waited for the manga comic storyline to play out in order to stay true to the plot arc, according to Tetsuro Araki, director of the TV series.

Meanwhile, according to Anime News Network, the anime's official website has announced that new ending footage will be added on to "Attack on Titan Part II: Wings of Freedom," the second compilation film of the anime TV series.

This new footage incorporates footage from the TV series' second season, which will be aired in 2016.

The trailer for "Attack on Titan Part II: Wings of Freedom" started streaming on Oct. 1.

It is set to the movies' theme song, Linked Horizon's "Jiyū no Daishō" (The Price of Freedom), and leaves fans hanging on for more answers.

"Attack on Titan Part II: Wings of Freedom" will open in Japan on June 27, 2016, followed by season 2 of the series.
