In view of this, they have requested International Trade Commission (ITC) to put restriction on the imports of all devices that contains Adreno, ARM mail, and PowerVR processors; however, on Friday, ITC administrative judge has ruled out the claims of breach. The two companies have achieved a success over the case filed by NVIDIA, since the commission has declared they have not violated Nvidia's patents for inventing the recent GPU.

According to the sources, this judgment puts an end to NVIDIA's endorsed accomplishments over the case, though the company cited in a blog post it proposes to request the full commission to evaluate the decision and not to discard the third patent. Since the third patent engulf the feature of shadow mapping in order to produce a depth value in graphics while rendering a primitive. The commission found that the patent is invalid since the methods explained in claims 23 and 24 isn't constructive and also claimed that the invention had not been new at that time.

The commission's ruling explained that NVIDIA's claims were too open to be valid; however, the company can take the decision to the full commission where their verdict may normally reflect the current ruling. The spokesperson of NVIDIA reaffirms that they are certain in winning this case against the violation of their intellectual property.
