It's not a good time at the moment in the WWE I am afraid. The scripts and story lines are weak and wrestlers aren't being given a good push. Still though we don't feel all is lost. Our reporter Ayyaz Malik gives his thoughts on the three wrestlers who could be the next WWE champion.

Seamus

Now I know what you're thinking the Irishmen is the WWE Money In The Bank Winner so he is bound to have a good chance. Although that is true The Celtic Warrior's character has been a good push. I mean his feud with Randy Orton was good and boosted the hard man image.

That feud did drag on and on - but the point remains the same, I think it helped boost Seamus' character. At 6 ft 4 he does have presence, so Rollins will have to be aware of a cash in. Let's not forget Seamus is a former two time WWE champion.

Daniel Bryan

This selection could raise a few eyebrows I know, but rumour has it the leader of the yes movement is to make a return in November. Bryan who is somewhat of a fans favourite has been advertised for some November tours.

WWE creative could alternatively keep Rollins as champion and wait for Daniel Bryan to return from injury. The creative team made the unpopular choice of not choosing Bryan as the 2015 Royal Rumble winner, so to make it up to the fans the former WWE  champion should regain his title he lost due to injury.

John Cena

Sorry to be boring guys - but I feel if the leader of the C-Nation was to be given a shot at the WWE title again and win, it will bring prestige back to the belt. Just look what Cena has done to the US title, open challenges has lead to some great title defences.

As good as that has been, the worry for the WWE creative is that the US title is producing better matches than world title matches. Cena's prestige, his charisma can bring a sense of meaning back to the belt.

The other reason why I say that is, is because Rollins and Cena have had a few matches recently so I think it could fit in a bit smoother to the story line.
