Android Open Source Project (AOSP) was recently tweaked for the sixth version of the Android software for the OnePlus One.

Android Marshmallow was released a couple of weeks ago. The AOSP was done to make this software compatible with OnePlus One, which is yet to receive any official statement about getting the original upgrade. This will enable the owners of this device to flash the ROM and install this update.
