If there is one good thing that came out from Lamar Odom's medical crisis caused by his drug overdose, it is saving his marriage to Khloe Kardashian.

E! News reports that the couple agreed to call off their divorce. On Wednesday, Laura Wesser, lawyer of Khloe, asked the judge in charge of finalizing the divorce of the two to withdraw the petition even if the only thing lacking is the judge's signature.

The judge approved Wesser's petition which means the divorce case is over. The couple, who married in 2009, signed divorce papers in June, but backlog in the judge's office caused the delay in its final approval.

Lamar woke up from his medically induced coma on Friday, four days after he was found unconscious by two brothel workers he hired for $75,000 for four days of party, drug and sex at Love Ranch, a brothel in Nevada. When the news reached Khloe, she immediately flew to the Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center in Las Vegas where the former Lakers player was confined.

Odom was discharged on Monday from Sunrise and transferred to another hospital in Los Angeles. While his waking up is considered by many as a "miracle," resulting from prayer requests during the four days he was in coma, the drug overdose has damaged Lamar's kidney that he has to undergo regular dialysis.

While attempting to fix a broken marriage is generally considered something good, the decision of the couple to give their union a second chance could raise eyebrows for two reasons among Kardashian observers.

One, getting married to a Kardashian woman is considered not so good since two of the husbands, one of them is Lamar, eventually had drug problems, while a third one - Bruce Jenner - became a woman, Caitlyn. One columnist considers the Kardashians a "monster family" because they would do anything to boost the ratings of their reality show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."

Two, the second try at marriage is seen as another ratings booster for their TV show. Movietvtechgeeks warns, "Don't be shocked if the two winds up having a renewal of their vows though as a great ratings draw. After all, while Khloe hit Dennis Hof, owner of Love Ranch, the brothel where Lamar stayed, for exploiting the event to boost his own reality TV show, she came with a camera crew while Lamar was still in coma.
