Cellar-dweller Sunderland (0-6-3, 3 points) will take on equally struggling team Newcastle United (1-5-3, 6 points) to try and get out of the bottom three of the league table in a 2015-2016 Premier League match at the Stadium of Light on Sunday, October 25.

The Black Cats are the only winless team left in the current season and manager Sam Allardyce will try to change that distinction in this home game versus the Magpies.

Sunderland is coming off another disappointing loss to West Bromwich Albion, 0-1, their sixth in nine matches, at the Hawthorns last Saturday, via BBC Sport.

The Tyne and Wear residents were unable to find the back of the net against the Baggies as 22-year-old striker Saido Berahino scored the lone goal in the match at the 54th minute.

Meanwhile, Newcastle finally got their first win of the season for new head coach Steve McClaren in remarkable fashion against newly-promoted club Norwich City, 6-2, at the St. James Park last Sunday, as per The Guardian.

Attacking midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum put on a show with four strikes in the game and was backed up by one goal apiece from forwards Ayoze Pérez and Aleksandar Mitrović to seal the match for the Magpies.

McClaren and his crew will look to follow-up their convincing win with another one against lowly Sunderland on the road this Sunday.

The prediction is a 3-1 victory for Newcastle.
