The "Monster of the Week" theme is back in the next episode of "Supernatural" Season 11. Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) will be taking a break in finding a way to defeat the Darkness/Amara (Emily Swallow) in "Supernatural" Season 11, episode 4 titled "Baby" because they will be hunting monsters again.
According to the upcoming episode's synopsis in a Carter Matt report, Sam and Dean will go on a road trip to find and fight monsters as well as demons. The synopsis further teased that the entire episode will be seen from the point of view of Dean's Impala.
"Supernatural" cast member Jared Padalecki revealed to Entertainment Weekly that the fourth episode of the new season is done in a very clever way because it centers on the Impala, a third lead character of the CW TV series for the past 10 seasons. Padalecki explained that the episode will not reveal a personality but the storyline will just show the fans how much the Impala became an important part in Sam and Dean's lives.
Padalecki further teased that the viewers can expect the classic "Supernatural" moments in season 11, episode 4 such as the essential talk between Sam and Dean over the hood of the Impala and the talk of the Winchester brothers inside the Impala. When asked if the new episode will have a car-wash scene, Padalecki responded that Sam and Dean have to keep "Baby" clean.
Meanwhile, the promo video teases on the kind of creature that Sam and Dean will hunt in the new episode. Dean thinks the creature is a werewolf but Castiel (Misha Collins) tells the Winchesters that the monster feeds on hearts.
Then, Dean gives the hybrid monster a name in the promo video of "Supernatural" Season 11, episode 4 like ghoulwolf or a ghoulpire. The ending scene of the promo video has Dean convincing his brother that they are dealing with a werepire.
"I'm not saying that," Sam tells his older brother while inside the Impala. "Supernatural" Season 11 will return with the Impala-centric episode 4 titled "Baby" on Wednesday night, Oct. 28, at 9/8c on the CW Network.
