Although, Adele is the best part of the announcement, she's not the only big celebrity who has been missed at SNL. Mathew McConaughey last hosted the show in 2013, but his leap from romantic comedy to more serious roles kept him too busy to get a lodge at Studio 8H. The 45-year-old actor became an Oscar winner for his role in "Dallas Buyer's Club" while his performance in "The True Detective" earned him an Emmy award.

Adele's last performance on SNL boosted her song "Chasing Pavement" to the top spot on iTunes, but since her latest internet sensation "Hello" is already occupying the No. 1 spot, where will the next episode take her album?

Clue: Hello song already got Katy Perry and Kate Hudson crying about it, moreover, the Vevo music video has also deprived Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" of the being most-watched video in 24 hours.

Adele and McConaughey are set to shine on "SNL," catch the stars during the live show on Saturday, Nov. 21, at 11:30 p.m. on NBC.
