Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Elijah (Daniel Gillies) will put their conflict aside while dealing with the new threats on the Mikaelson family in "The Originals" Season 3. The Mikaelson siblings must figure out how to triumph over the ominous prophecy of Lucien's seer and find out the plans of the new and apparently powerful vampires in New Orleans in "The Originals" Season 3, episode 4 titled "A Walk on the Wild Side."
The previous episode of the CW TV series has introduced the new characters Aya (Tracy Ifeachor) and Tristan (Oliver Ackland). The synopsis of "The Originals" Season 3, episode 4 in a Collider report teases that Elijah will attend a gala with Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) in order to find out what Tristan, his first sired vampire, is up to in New Orleans.
However, Elijah realizes in the promo video of the upcoming episode that the gala is not really a party but a front for an initiation of the mysterious group of ancient vampires called "The Strix." Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) will be contemplating on which side he wants to be a part of after "The Strix" member Aya approached him with an enticing offer.
The upcoming episode's synopsis further teased that Original vampire-werewolf hybrid Klaus (Joseph Morgan) will form a tentative alliance with his first sired vampire Lucien (Andrew Lees) in order to find the missing vital component in Lucien's plan. Meanwhile, a sneak peek video of "The Originals" Season 3, episode 4 show Klaus, Elijah, Freya (Riley Voelkel) and Hayley discuss the prophecy on their family.
In an Entertainment Weekly interview, "The Originals" main cast member Riley Voelkel shared that Freya, a powerful witch and the eldest Mikaelson sibling, will feel the responsibility and pressure of protecting her supernatural family. Voelkel teased that reuniting with her family is all that Freya wants and she will definitely try taking care of things with the use of spells and witch work to keep the Mikaelson family safe and whole.
When asked if Freya will ever get involved with the other witches in New Orleans, Voelkel thinks her character will always stay on her family's side. "The Originals" Season 3 returns with episode 4 titled "A Walk on the Wild Side" on Thursday night, Oct. 29, at 9/8c on the CW Network.
