"Dancing with the Stars" season 21 star Tamar Braxton is upset about the producers making her look arrogant in the latest episode of the dance competition. Her "DWTS" partner Val Chmerkovskiy revealed that the singer could not care less about winning but she felt disappointed with how she may come across to the viewers.
Speaking to People, Chmerkovskiy shared that Braxton was not worried about getting low scores from the competition. What she is more concerned about is how fans may think she seemed cocky.
In the video shown before their performance last Monday, Braxton was asked how she felt about the competition, to which the singer revealed that she thought she was the "best dancer" in the show.
Chmerkovskiy explained that each of the contestant was asked to say something friendly but given that they are all in a competition, some people may find Braxton's answer rude and vain. Chmerkovskiy said that his partner is worried that people may take it against her.
True enough, according to Cocoafab, Braxton received a lot of negative comments from "DWTS" fans this week. They claimed that she was getting a bit too full of herself. They added that it did not come as a surprise that she landed at the bottom of week 7.
Braxton, however, defended herself via Twitter. She explained that the Bible asked people to "speak things as though it is so." She wondered why people would react so negatively towards those who showed confidence and believed in themselves.
