The Tottenham Hotspur (4-1-5, 17 points) will look to solidify their place in the overall standings as they face cellar dwellers Aston Villa (1-8-1, 4 points) at the White Hart Lane on Monday, November 2nd, for a 2015-2016 Premier League affair.

Tottenham had been unbeaten in their last nine games after their season-opening loss to Manchester United last August 8. Mauricio Pochettino's squad is actually one of two teams in the English top flight right now that has only one loss after 10 weeks of competitions.

The Spurs dominated an overmatched Bournemouth XI, 5-1, in their game at the Vitality Stadium last Sunday as striker Harry Kane unleashed a stunning hat trick, scoring goals at the 9th, 56th, and 63rd minutes for the London residents, via SkySports.

Midfielders Mousa Dembélé and Érik Lamela each contributed one goal at the 17th and 29th minutes respectively to finalize the count.

Aston Villa continues to struggle this season as, contrary to the Lilywhites, they had been winless since their opening day victory over Bournemouth also last August 8.

They had one drawn match, a 2-2 deadlock with Sunderland during week 4, and since then they had lost six straight outings in the current season.

Their most recent match was a close 1-2 loss to Swansea City at their home field of Villa Park last Saturday, as reported by Daily Mail Online.

Villa striker Jordan Ayew drew first blood two minutes over the hour mark to give the Villans a 1-0 lead, but Swans winger Gylfi Sigurdsson canceled it out six minutes later while his brother André scored the winner at the 87th to deny them a point in the league table.

The Spurs are expected to continue their unbeaten streak against the struggling Villans in this Monday night match.

The predicted result is a 3-1 romp by Tottenham Hotspur.
